Halloween this year had many little and big goblins!
November has Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving.
November 26th will have the 2nd annual Live Nativity where Mary & Joseph with baby Jesus will be at the Town Square.
It starts with Mary, Joseph & their donkey travelling around the center of town looking for a place to stay.
Of course there will be "no room at the Inn".
There will be live animals, such as Magi arriving on Clydesdales & shepherds with sheep & the village families coming to worship. A choir will help to lead the singing.
Suggestion: bring an unwrapped present to place in the box by the manger.
The Salvation Army will give them to kids in need this year.
December brings Christmas in the Village on Saturday, Dec 3rd.
There will be a craft bazaar in the Town Hall from 10 am to 4 pm.
Santa Claus himself will be in the parade that day at 1 PM. Later you can whisper in his ear your wish for this year.
April 29th is the Reverse Raffle & Dinner with proceeds going to the July 4th fireworks.
May is the annual Gazebo Garden Walk.
June starts the Summer Concerts in the Park and the weekly Farmers Market.
June 24th is the Ohio Scottish Games Festival at the Lorain County Fairgrounds.
In July there are many activities including a parade and fireworks to celebrate our Nation's birthday (July 4th).
Also in July is the annual Cheese Heritage Festival. Wellington used to be know as the Cheese Capital of the World.
August 21 - 27 will be the dates of the Lorain County Fair.
September 15 - 17 is the Steam Engine Show & Flea Market at the fairgrounds.
The Eagles hold a clambake in September as well as Oktoberfest.
On weekends from September through October Brassee's Corn Maze is open. Besides the corn maze they have a pumpkin patch, hayrides, and lots of other activities. Just north of Wellington. Check it out!
